Super Avacare 160 mg is marketed for adult men who experience both erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. These two problems often happen together. Worry about losing an erection can make some men rush and finishing too early can add to that worry.

Avanafil supports a firm erection while dapoxetine works on ejaculation control. Together they aim to help with both concerns in one tablet.

The two ingredients work in different parts of the body.

• How avanafil works: When you are aroused your body releases a chemical called cGMP that relaxes the blood vessels in the penis. The enzyme PDE5 breaks cGMP down. Avanafil blocks PDE5 so blood vessels stay relaxed for longer and blood flow improves. This makes an erection easier to get and keep.

• How dapoxetine works: Ejaculation is partly controlled by a brain chemical called serotonin. Dapoxetine raises serotonin activity for a short time which can slow down the ejaculation reflex. It is absorbed quickly and leaves the body fairly fast which is why it is taken only before sex.

Avanafil needs sexual stimulation to work. Neither medicine increases sexual desire

Follow your doctor's directions when using Super Avacare 160 mg. General guidance:

• Take one tablet about 1 hour before sexual activity or as your doctor advises.

• Swallow it whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not take more than one tablet in 24 hours.

• Avoid alcohol on the day you take it.

• If you feel lightheaded sit or lie down until it passes.

Taking it for the first time? Take your first dose at home where you can sit down if you feel dizzy. Do not drive or use machines until you know how it affects you.

Common Side Effects - Because this tablet contains two active medicines, some people may experience mild side effects from either ingredient. Headache, nausea, dizziness, facial flushing, stuffy nose, diarrhea, trouble sleeping and tiredness can occur. These effects are often temporary. Speak with your doctor if they become severe or continue to bother you.

Serious Side Effects - Some symptoms need prompt medical attention. Fainting, chest pain, a fast or irregular heartbeat, sudden changes in vision or hearing, seizures, severe allergic reactions, unusual changes in mood or behaviour or an erection lasting more than 4 hours should not be ignored. Dapoxetine can also cause fainting, sometimes with warning signs such as nausea, sweating, lightheadedness or a racing heartbeat. If you feel like you may faint, lie down with your legs raised or sit with your head between your knees until you feel better. Seek medical help if you faint or the symptoms are severe.

This combination is not suitable for everyone. Do not use Super Avacare 160 mg without medical advice if you:

• Take nitrates or riociguat

• Have heart problems such as heart failure, heart valve disease or an irregular heartbeat

• Have a history of fainting or low blood pressure

• Have moderate or severe liver disease

• Have a history of mania, bipolar disorder, severe depression or seizures

• Take antidepressants or other medicines that affect serotonin

• Are under 18 or over 64

• Are allergic to avanafil or dapoxetine

Both ingredients can interact with other medicines. Some combinations can cause dangerous drops in blood pressure or a serious reaction called serotonin syndrome. Tell your doctor if you take:

• Nitrates and riociguat

• Alpha blockers and other blood pressure medicines

• Other ED medicines or PDE5 inhibitors

• Antidepressants such as SSRIs, SNRIs or tricyclics

• MAO inhibitors now or in the last 14 days

• Tramadol, lithium, triptans, linezolid or St John's wort

• Thioridazine

• Ketoconazole, ritonavir, clarithromycin and other CYP3A4 inhibitors

• Blood thinners

Alcohol: Avoid alcohol when using Super Avacare 160 mg. Dapoxetine with alcohol raises the risk of dizziness, fainting and injury from a fall.

• Store Super Avacare 160 mg in its original packaging at room temperature.

• Protect it from heat moisture and direct sunlight.

• Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not use Super Avacare 160 mg after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
