Some medicines can react with avanafil and cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure or raise side effects. Tell your doctor about everything you take including supplements.

• Nitrates such as nitroglycerin

• Riociguat

• Alpha blockers for blood pressure or prostate problems

• Other ED medicines or PDE5 inhibitors

• Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole, ritonavir or clarithromycin

• Moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors such as erythromycin or fluconazole

Avanafil with alcohol: A small drink is usually fine for most men. Heavy drinking can lower your blood pressure and make dizziness, headache and a fast heartbeat more likely. Too much alcohol can also make it harder to get an erection.
