Cipla's prescribing information lists two inhalations twice daily for Seroflo 125 Inhaler. Follow the schedule and age appropriate strength selected by your prescriber. The dose depends on asthma control and the exact device. Do not use this page to start treatment or change an existing prescription.
Use the inhaler regularly at the prescribed times. For a missed dose follow the supplied leaflet. General combination inhaler guidance advises skipping the missed dose and continuing the normal schedule without doubling.
For a conventional pressurised metered dose inhaler the basic technique includes the following steps.
Remove the cap and check the mouthpiece
Shake the inhaler as directed in its leaflet
Breathe out comfortably away from the mouthpiece
Seal your lips around the mouthpiece
Begin breathing in slowly and press the canister to release one puff
Continue breathing in steadily and deeply
Hold your breath for as long as comfortable
Repeat for the prescribed second puff following the leaflet's interval
Replace the cap after use
Rinse your mouth with water after the prescribed dose and spit the water out. This helps reduce mouth and throat side effects. Use a spacer only when it is compatible and recommended for your device.
Follow the actual leaflet for priming and cleaning. These instructions differ between devices. Do not apply these steps to a breath actuated inhaler without checking its instructions.
Seek prompt medical advice if you use more than prescribed. Chest pain or a markedly fast heartbeat needs urgent assessment. Sudden severe breathing difficulty requires emergency help.
