Do not take isotretinoin in the following situations.

• You are pregnant or trying to become pregnant

• You are breastfeeding

• You have liver insufficiency

• Your blood lipid levels are excessively elevated

• You have excess vitamin A in the body

• You are taking a tetracycline antibiotic
